There is an inequality in this country that has been developing since August 15, 1971.
From that historic date going forward to this very day, President Nixon took the United States off the gold standard. This was communicated to the American people and the world as a “Temporary” measure. Guess what. It was not temporary. Surprised? I didn’t think so.
As a result, the standard of living for the middle-class has steadily decreased to the point of where we are today. The poor have faired even worse. With every passing day, with total disregard for those whom they represent, those in positions of power and influence have become richer.
